Notable Characteristics of PETARI Rice Pot
- Enjoy the enriched taste
Nowadays, the most popular way to cook rice is by using an electric rice cooker, which reliably provides perfectly steamed rice. However, for those who wish to achieve restaurant-quality results, we recommend the PETARI Rice Pot, which effortlessly enhances the flavor of the rice. The gentle sweetness of rice is brought out when amylase, an enzyme, breaks down starch into sugar. The enzymatic reaction of amylase is most active between 40°C and 60°C. Since clay pots have lower thermal conductivity compared to metal pots, they allow the rice to pass through this 40°C to 60°C temperature range slowly, resulting in sweet and delicious rice. - Simplicity means no more hassle
Traditionally, clay ceramic pots required seasoning before their first use. However, with the development of a unique low liquid absorption glaze, this initial seasoning is no longer necessary. There's also no need to measure water, as the pot features water level lines marked for 1 and 2 cups of white rice. Simply cook over medium heat, and once bubbles start to escape from the gap in the lid, just turn off the heat—no need to worry about adjusting it. Unlike other clay ceramic rice cookers, the PETARI Rice Pot doesn’t have an inner lid. This is due to the superior airtightness of PETARI. The adjustment of the tabs on the lid is done manually by craftsmen in increments of 0.1mm. This precise craftsmanship has allowed us to eliminate the need for an inner lid, resulting in a simpler design. - Designed to suit modern lifestyle
The round, compact shape fits perfectly into modern living. Once the cooking is done, it can also be used as a rice container. PETARI's moderate moisture absorbency helps maintain the rice's flavor. Any leftover rice can be stored in the refrigerator or reheated directly in the microwave with the rice pot.
